Basic bread recipe

This recipe is quite easy to make and absolutely delicious.

here’s a simple to follow,detailed instructions that should ta about 3 hours both prep.and cook time.


ingredients



3 cups flour

1 1/2 teaspoon yeast

1 1/4 cups warm water

1 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon canola oil

1 1/2 tablespoons sugar (optional).



Directions.


Dissolve yeast in warm water and set aside

to proof for about 5-10 minutes .



Add the salt and sugar into

the flour and mix together .



Pour the oil and yeast

mixture into the flour .



Using a hand or stand mixer,beat

on medium for about 5-7 minutes

until it forms a smooth dough.



Transfer dough to a floured work

surface and knead for about 7-10

minutes until it turns elastic.( the dough should be smooth and stretchy at this point)



Put dough in a greased bowl,

cover with cloth and let

rise for about 1-2 hours

till it doubles it’s size.



Grease two 9.5inch pan and set aside.



Punch dough down to

remove any trapped air.



Cut dough into two equal parts

and shape into a loaf,place dough

in a greased loaf pan,cover and

let rise for one more hour.



Preheat oven to 375 degrees,

place dough in oven and bake for

30-35 minutes or until golden brown.



Bring bread out from the oven,let rest on a cooling rack for 10 minutes.slice and serve.
