ingredients
crust
2 2/4 cups flour
1 cup warm water
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons yeast
2 teaspoons sugar
Toppings
1 cup cooked chicken (diced)
1/2 cup pepperoni
1/2 cup bell peppers (sliced)
1/4 cup jalapeño pepper (sliced)
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 stalks green onion (sliced)
Proof the yeast with warm water for 5-10 minutes. Add the oil, salt, sugar and two cups of flour, mix on medium speed for 3 minutes. Stir in the remaining flour, mix to form a soft dough then transfer to a lightly floured work surface and knead for 6-8 minutes. Place the dough in a greased bowl , cover with a cloth or plastic wrap and set aside to rise for 10 minutes.
But the end of the resting time, the dough should have doubled it’s size. Punch the dough 3-5 times to let the air out, put on a flat surface and roll out into the shape of the pizza pan, build up edges, put it on a greased pan and bake for 5-7 minutes on 400 degrees heat ( skip the baking process if you don’t want your crust extra crispy.)
Bring the dough out from the oven, add tomato sauce, top with cheese, sprinkle in the bell and jalapeño peppers, add the chicken, pepperoni, green onion and a little Parmesan cheese. Put back in the oven and bake on 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Bring out from the oven, cut into desired sizes and serve.
bon appetit.
