This yummy, super sweet and finger licking strawberry jam is a most have. This homemade strawberry jam is so easy to make, and can stay fresh up to 3 weeks in the refrigerator.

prep time: 10 minutes

cook time: 15 minutes

total time: 25 minutes

ingredients

2 pounds strawberries (hulled and halved)

1 1/2 cups sugar

1/4 cup lemon juice

direction

Wash,Hull and halves strawberrors, pour into a sauce pan, stir in the sugar and lemon juice and bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stir frequently to avoid burn. Once it starts to bubble, use a potato masher to mash the strawberries to desired consistency, then continue cooking until it starts to foam.

Use a spoon to skim off the foam, and cook another few minutes, turn off the heat and pour the strawberry jam in a storage container ,let it cool to room temperature before storing in the refrigerator or freezer.
