Kpomo sauce

If you ever get tired of the regular chicken,beef or fish stew for your rice or yam,then this kpomo recipe is something you will not regret trying. It is absolutely delicious and easy to put together.i alway make this recipe when ever I want to put up a quick lunch or dinner for my family,and they love it so much.

ingreddients

kpomo(cow skin) about 1 1/2 pound

1 red bell pepper

1 yellow bell pepper

1 roma tomato

1 medium onion

2 habenero. Pepper

2 cloves garlic

1/2 teaspoon curry powder

1/3 cup cooking oil

salt

seasoning



soak the kpomo with hot water for abut 20-30 minutes ( if using pre cooked kpomo,skip this process.)

wash with cold water.


Put the kpomo in a pot over medium heat,add half of the onion (chopped),1/2 teaspoon pepper,curry powder,salt and seasoning to taste. Add just enough water to cook the meat dry.



Blend the peppers,garlic,tomato and the remaining half onion.



Heat up the oil,add onion and cook until tender. Add the pepper mix,and until almost completely dry.



Add the kpomo , adjust salt and seasoning, cook until the oil starts to float on top the sauce.

Remove from heat and serve as a side dish with rice , yam,potato ,or enjoy with some cold drink.
