Sausage rolls

English sausage rolls made with beef or pork sausage wrapped in puff pastry.

ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1/2 cup bread crumbs

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon curry powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon parsley

1 egg

salt, pepper and seasoning to taste


puff pastry

3 cups all purpose flour

2/4 teaspoon salt

2 sticks of butter

2/3 cup of cold water


directions.



Put the ground beef in a bowl,add all the other ingredients and mix until properly incorporated.


Mix together the flour and salt in a bowe. Add the butter and mix until crumbly. Add the water and mix until it forms a dough. Transfer to the work surface and knead for 6-8 minutes. Flatten the dough and put in the fridge for 1-3 hours .

Put the dough back in the work surface,roll out into a flat thin rectangular shape,put a handful of sausage into one end of the pastry add roll over to the other end. rep process until all the pastry is done. Place in a pan lined with baking sheet. Put in the oven and bake for 30-40 minutes on a 400 degrees heat.
